Don't you dare look out your window, Darling, everything's on fire..♥

I really dont have time to really write any of my great, well-thought-through posts anymore.. Super busy schedule, I barely have time to breathe. But, I always have time for music, so I'm thinking song of the day videos since I have neglected this blog for way too long.
This song has been on constant repeat all day, from 5:45 this morning to right this second, 9:21 tonight.. I think I can say I'm addicted. So, enjoy. Muchlove,Sarah♥

What if...

Have you ever thought about what life would be like without certain things, or if we lived in a totally different era? I know we think, "That'd be weird." But really, It wouldn't. Because if we'd never known those things that we were living without, or if we'd only ever known that era, nothing would really be missing or different at all. It would seem like everything was perfectly normal. For example: Just say you're a pioneer out on the Great Plains somewhere. What if you'd never seen a stove before? What do you really care? You've got your trusty old fire and skillet. Yeah, I know whats going through our heads. "I'd starve to death! I dont even know how to build a fire, must less cook over one." Yes, we'd starve NOW, because all we've ever known is our handy dandy stove. But if we'd lived THEN, we would be like, "Oh yeah! Let's get this fire going and have some buffalo casserole tonight!" And we'd know exactly what to do, and it wouldn't seem strange at all. It'd be perfectly normal.
Have you ever thought about what your life would be like if you never knew anyone you know now, if they were all different people? Yeah, we think, "Oh my gosh, are you crazy? I don't know how I'd survive." But the thing is, like I said before, If  you'd never known the people you know now, it'd be perfectly normal. Sometimes if I'm just walking around in the mall or something, I'll imagine people into my life. Like, what if that girl buying the chocolate chip cookie was my best friend? What if that tall athletic guy in hat shack was my brother? What if my dad was that businessman in the grey suit on the escalator? What if my mom was that lady trying on shoes in Nine West? What if that Marine that just walked by was my soul mate and I just missed out? And it goes on and on and on. I think about things like that all the time. It may seem strange to some people, but it's not. Those who may think it's strange are usually those who take nearly everything in life for granted. I personally believe that we shouldn't take anything or anyone at all for granted. I mean, yeah, its there. The people in our lives are there. For now. But we never know when anyone or anything could be taken from us in a split second.
Life is unpredictable. So I believe we should live as if we would die tomorrow, love as if tomorrow will never come, & dance when we get the chance, because there may not be another. If we actually lived like that, the world would seem so much different.
Like those kids who don't have parents or food in third-world countries. What if we actually started doing something about it, instead of just watching those commmercials and just thinking, "Oh, how sad." and then changing the channel ? What if we stood up for what we believe in and stopped sitting around waiting for something to change and complaining when it doesn't? What if we all stepped out of our comfort zones to live our dreams?
What if? It's just two words. But they can change a lot. So...
What if we let them?

Happy Happy Happy :)

So, today is America's 235th birthday! Happy Birthday Americaaa!!! :) Also, Happy 4th of July to all of you lovely people. The fourth is almost always signified by barbecues, fresh watermelon, and fireworks. Hence, the inspiration for this post: [America first, of course] FIREWORKSS :) Gotta love 'em. They last all of 2 minutes each, but the sparkle and shine leaves you wishing there was just one more left in the box. Just to see the sky light up ONE more time. Its really amazing how intrigued we become by a few sparks in the night sky. Talking about fireworks is making me sing Katy Perry's Firework in my head. So heres to you, America, and all of your lovely people:
Do you ever feel like a plastic bag
Drifting throught the wind
Wanting to start again

Do you ever feel, feel so paper thin
Like a house of cards
One blow from caving in

Do you ever feel already buried deep
Six feet under scream
But no one seems to hear a thing

Do you know that there's still a chance for you
Cause there's a spark in you

You just gotta ignite the light
And let it shine
Just own the night
Like the Fourth of July

Cause baby you're a firework
Come on show 'em what you're worth
Make 'em go "Oh, oh, oh!"
As you shoot across the sky-y-y

Baby you're a firework
Come on let your colors burst
Make 'em go "Oh, oh, oh!"
You're gunna leave 'em fallin' down-own-own

You don't have to feel like a waste of space
You're original, cannot be replaced
If you only knew what the future holds
After a hurricane comes a rainbow

Maybe you're reason why all the doors are closed
So you could open one that leads you to the perfect road
Like a lightning bolt, your heart will blow
And when it's time, you'll know

You just gotta ignite the light
And let it shine
Just own the night
Like the Fourth of July

Cause baby you're a firework
Come on show 'em what you're worth
Make 'em go "Oh, oh, oh!"
As you shoot across the sky-y-y

Baby you're a firework
Come on let your colors burst
Make 'em go "Oh, oh, oh!"
You're gonna leave 'em all in awe-awe-awe"

Boom, boom, boom
Even brighter than the moon, moon, moon
It's always been inside of you, you, you
And now it's time to let it through

Cause baby you're a firework
Come on show 'em what your worth
Make 'em go "Oh, oh, oh!"
As you shoot across the sky-y-y

Baby you're a firework
Come on slet your colors burst
Make 'em go "Oh, oh, oh!"
You're gonna leave 'em all in awe-awe-awe

Boom, boom, boom
Even brighter than the moon, moon, moon
Boom, boom, boom
Even brighter than the moon, moon, moon

Look It Up

This is a sort of shout-out to another Alabama girl like myself. This song is amazing, really. Its so down to earth, and catchy, but then it kind of makes you want to slap somebody or either cry your heart out.

The word is faithful, look it up
It don't mean sneakin' around
Behind my back like you ain't gettin' enough
How 'bout forever, just look it up
It means through thick and thin and
Pitchin' in even when the times get tough

The word is easy, look it up
And you'll see a picture of that piece of trash
Ridin' 'round in your pickup truck
Let's try liar, just look it up
But you'll need boots to wade through all the bull
You tell me when you come home drunk
It's just like you to be so clueless
Cause you never thought I'd do this

I said go, goodbye, get lost, get out, get gone
The word is over
Look it up

You said you're sober, look it up
It's right next to hell is freezin' over, flyin' pigs,
And all that stuff
And how bout baby, look it up
It's what you call me and it's how you act
Every time I call your bluff
It's just like you to keep denyin'
Save your whinin' and your cryin'

I said go, goodbye, get lost, get out, get gone
The word is over
Look it up

The word's forgiveness, look it up
It's what Jesus has in store for you
But I don't no matter what
Quit your beggin' and your prayin'
Can't you hear what I've been sayin'?

I said go, goodbye, get lost, get out, get gone
The word is over
Look it up
